  • Employers and job seekers must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

Acceptable Use Policy

By using our platform, you agree to:

  • Use our services lawfully and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Refrain from engaging in any activity that compromises platform security or the integrity of user data.
  • Avoid scraping, data mining, or automated access of our platform without authorization.
  • Not upload, share, or distribute malicious code, misleading job postings, or harmful content.
  • Respect all intellectual property rights related to our AI models, analytics, and software.

Failure to comply with these provisions may result in account suspension or permanent removal from our platform.

Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, AI models, analytics, and proprietary technologies used in the platform are owned by Starbloom.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify our proprietary content or technologies without prior written consent.
  • Employers and job seekers retain ownership of their own content (resumes, job postings, and related materials) but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this information to provide our services.

AI-Driven Recommendations & Decision-Making

  • Our platform does not guarantee employment offers or hiring decisions made by employers.
  • AI-generated candidate rankings and assessments are for informational purposes only.
  • Users cannot dispute AI-generated recommendations or hiring insights.
  • Employers are solely responsible for ensuring that hiring decisions comply with applicable labor laws.

Privacy & Data Usage

  • Users agree to our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and store data.
  • Personal information may be used for AI model training, compliance verification, and analytics.
  • Users cannot opt out of data collection used to improve AI-driven hiring insights.
  • Employers may access inferred skills and hiring insights that candidates may not explicitly provide.
  • We do not sell user data but may share data with trusted partners for hiring and compliance purposes.

Security Measures

  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user data.
  • Data in transit is encrypted, and storage is protected with secure infrastructure.
  • We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence (e.g., weak passwords, sharing credentials).
  • In the event of a data breach, affected users will be notified as soon as possible.

Limitation of Liability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.
  • We are not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers using our platform.
  • We are not liable for losses, damages, or legal disputes arising from platform use.

Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts if:

  • A user engages in fraudulent or malicious activity.
  • A user attempts to manipulate AI-driven hiring recommendations.
  • Required by law or regulatory authorities.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically to reflect changes in legal, technical, or business developments. Continued use of our platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
  • Any disputes arising from platform use will be resolved through binding arbitration.
  • Users waive their right to participate in class-action lawsuits against Starbloom.
